Bright deep violet with a nearly black core. The multi-layered bouquet opens with ripe blackberries, black cherries, and cassis. This is joined by the characteristic white pepper spice of Lemberger, fine notes of juniper berries, and Mediterranean herbs such as rosemary and thyme. Subtle hints of cloves, dark cocoa, and noble roasted aromas from Swabian oak lend the wine additional depth and elegance. On the palate, the »L!« presents itself as powerful, concentrated, and at the same time impressively precise. The dense dark fruit is supported by a fine minerality, spicy herbal aromatics, and perfectly integrated tannins. The calcareous Keuper soil gives the wine a fascinating freshness and balance despite its enormous concentration. The more than 30-month maturation in Swabian barriques ensures a silky structure, great complexity, and an extraordinarily long, profound finish.
Lemberger in seiner eindrucksvollsten Form. Für unseren »L!« stammen die Trauben aus dem ältesten Weinberg unseres Weinguts. Die alten Rebstöcke bringen von Natur aus nur noch wenige, dafür außergewöhnlich konzentrierte Trauben hervor – die Grundlage für einen Wein mit großer Tiefe und beeindruckendem Ausdruck. Über 30 Monate Reife in schwäbischen Barriques verleihen dem Wein Struktur, Eleganz und eine bemerkenswerte Balance. Die charakteristische Pfefferwürze des Lembergers trifft auf dichte dunkle Frucht und die kühle Mineralität des kalkhaltigen Keuperbodens. So entsteht ein Wein, der Herkunft und Rebsorte auf eindrucksvolle Weise widerspiegelt. Ein Lemberger mit großer Persönlichkeit – kraftvoll, präzise und kompromisslos auf Qualität ausgerichtet.
