Bright rosé gold in the glass. The expressive bouquet delights with ripe Williams pear, juicy lychee, and fresh plum, accompanied by delicate vanilla notes and a hint of roasted almonds. Partial fermentation in barrique and extended aging on the full lees give the wine additional depth and a wonderfully creamy melt. On the palate, the Pinot Gris presents itself as powerful, juicy, and silky all at once. The ripe fruit combines with a fine spice, harmonious creaminess, and an animating freshness to create an expressive overall impression. Plenty of substance, elegant balance, and a long-lasting finish make this the most powerful and simultaneously most characterful Edition Junior bottling.
Der erste Schritt. Die »Edition Junior« ist die Hommage an Christians erste Gehversuche in voller Verantwortung – im Weinberg und im Keller. Bereits während seiner Ausbildungszeit begann er 2006, eigene Ideen umzusetzen, Entscheidungen selbst zu treffen und seinen ganz persönlichen Stil zu entwickeln. Was damals mit viel Neugier, Leidenschaft und Mut begann, prägt seine Handschrift bis heute. Der Grauburgunder steht für die kraftvolle Seite der Edition Junior. Goldgelb gereifte Trauben, eine schonende Vinifikation und das lange Vollhefelager verleihen ihm saftige Frucht, feinen Schmelz und eine elegante Balance. Ein Burgunder mit Charakter, der zeigt, wie viel Ausdruck in präzisem Handwerk und bester Traubenqualität steckt. #seit2006

This elegant tart combines the delicate aroma of ripe Williams pears with velvety notes of caramel and refined vanilla. The combination of a buttery crust and toasted almonds creates a wonderful interplay of textures and a pleasant, fruity depth.
